BRCA testing – a step towards prevention
Inherited defects in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes can significantly increase the risk of breast and ovarian cancer. During genetic counseling, our Patients receive detailed, understandable information about possible hereditary diseases and possible risks – either before family planning or in connection with an existing problem. The purpose of the consultations is to support the Patient or the Party in making an informed decision about further testing or necessary steps. The process can also help in the early detection and treatment of genetic abnormalities.
