What is robotic surgery?
Robotic surgery, or robot-assisted surgery, is a modern, minimally invasive surgical technique in which the surgeon performs the procedure not directly, but through a control console.
The robotic arms move with extreme precision, eliminating hand tremors, while the surgeon sees the surgical area in a 3D, high-resolution image.

Villa Medicina patients now have the opportunity to participate in a robotic surgery consultation with Chief Gynecological Oncologist Dr. Bahrehmand Kiarash – one of the country's pioneering robotic surgeons.
Chief Physician Dr. Bahrehmand Kiarash completed his robotic surgery training in Strasbourg in January 2022, and then on January 27, 2022 at the National Institute of Oncology, he was among the first to perform robot-assisted surgery for gynecological cancer in Hungary.
Since then, he has performed numerous successful interventions and is actively involved in the domestic development and application of the technology.
