PROFESSIONAL EXPRIENCES:
I graduated from the Medical University of Debrecen in 1989. At that time, it was difficult to find a job in the gynecological profession. I am from Szabolcs County, and I was assigned to the Nyíregyháza County Hospital. The huge department, which at that time had 200 beds and nearly 4,000 births/year, proved to be a very good place to lay the professional foundations. At first, I dealt with menopausal medicine. Hormone replacement therapy and the treatment of bleeding disorders are still part of my work today. I am a Qualified Doctor in Menopausal Medicine. In 2000, I began to deal more thoroughly with incontinence and urogynecology. Even then, we saw that the procedures recommended in general surgery were often unsuccessful or that urinary leakage and pelvic floor prolapse often recurred. In these years, TVT, tension-free vaginal band surgery, was introduced in Hungary, which revolutionized the surgical treatment of incontinence. Knowledge was not given for free. I often visited the Urology Clinics of Pécs and Budapest to further my education. Vaginal and then laparoscopic meshes were introduced into the treatment of prolapse, and new types of surgery were “born”. I midwifed at each of these over the years, learning to apply all surgical procedures precisely and safely. Creating and maintaining a completely new profile, and providing implants caused considerable difficulty during the years in Nyíregyháza. At the same time, I saw how good the surgical results were, I was interested in the "whys", and I became more and more involved in the topic.
I reported on my surgical results and insights at congresses. Through these, I ended up at the Telki Private Hospital in 2009-2010, and then I was invited to the Flór Ferenc Hospital in Kistarcsa. In 2013, I became the head of the department of gynecology at the Flór Ferenc Hospital in Pest County. It was not easy to leave 23 years behind me and start over in the agglomeration, but it was worth it! The path opened up: I could learn a lot in Germany: in Hagen from Jacek Kociszewski. The diagnostics of the pelvic floor was put on a new foundation when I introduced the ultrasound examinations he taught. Following the Integral Theory (Petros) in surgical indications, my results became better than anything else. I am still a regular “visitor” of several pelvic floor centers in Germany, and I use the surgical procedures (vaginal and laparoscopic) I learned there in my work. I can offer all of this to my patients in Hungary.
Due to the structural and structural changes introduced in the state healthcare system on 03/01/2021, I was no longer able to “enforce” my principles and healing ideas. Eight months later, I returned my management mandate. From 01/11/2021, I will only be practicing private medicine. I am waiting for my private patients in Gödöllő and the Belvárosi Orvosi Centrum and in Buda, in the modern CMF Medical clinic on the 1st floor of the Gobuda Plaza in the 3rd district. I provide inpatient care at the Szent Magdolna Private Hospital.
I am a member of several medical societies and am the gynecological co-president of the Hungarian Continence and Urogynecology Society (MAKUT).
