Thanks to the available technology, the machine is able to give permanently hairless results, if our guests follow some basic rules, disclose any health problems, and follow the instructions of the specialist throughout the treatments. Not all our hairs grow at the same time, there are so-called growth cycles (anagen, catagen, telogen) and we can treat hairs that are currently growing, i.e. in the anagen phase. During one treatment, the approx. 20% are in the active phase at the same time, so usually at least 6-8 treatments are needed. The exact number of treatments may vary from person to person. Once the treatments are finished, it may be necessary to repeat 1-1 reminder treatments years later, because some ingrown hairs may appear as a result of hormonal changes, health conditions, or other treatments.
All skin tones and most hair types can be treated with our machine, with the exception of very blonde, gray and red hairs, as they do not contain melanin that can absorb the laser beam. Why more than 1 treatments are needed, why does not burn once to go?
Hair has 3 growth phases. The most important for us is the anagen, i.e. growth phase. In this phase, the connection between the hair and the hair follicle is continuous, and in this connection phase, the pigment cells produce the dye in the hair. How long they stay in this state depends on genetics, age and body shape.
The other phase is the catagen, i.e. transitional phase, in this phase hair growth slows down and eventually stops, in which case the hair follicle shrinks and the hair begins to move away from it.
The third is the telogen, i.e. resting phase, the hair slowly reaches the surface of the skin, and the hair remains in the hair canal until it falls out. The resting phase can last 2-6 months, depending on the body part and age.
We can only reach the hair follicle when the hair and the hair follicle are in contact, i.e. in the anagen phase, in this phase the body hair grows approx. It has 20%, which is why 6-8 treatments are needed.
Hairs in the catagen and telogen phases are heated in vain, because of the lack of continuous contact, we no longer reach the hair follicle.
