Liver detoxification

Nowadays, among the adult population, the proportion of people with liver problems is increasing.

When the liver is clogged, weak, or overloaded, it cannot function effectively, regulate the body, and properly digest proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, because toxins clog the lymphatic system.

Clogging can be caused by unhealthy nutrition, various environmental hazards, and complaints caused by stress.

In order for our liver to function healthily, it is important to follow some basic rules regarding our lifestyle and nutrition:

  • Proper distribution of food on our plate (20% protein, 80% vegetables and fruits)

Always pay attention to the proportions and that e.g. in the case of physical work, we increase the amounts, and also to always have fresh and seasonal vegetables and fruits on our plates.

  • Appropriate food pairing

Some food pairings can make digestion difficult if we don't put together our diet properly, and difficult digestion can also lead to liver strain. It is important to eat vegetables or fruits with a high fiber content at every meal for easier digestion. Also, always make sure to choose the right quality and variety of fruits and vegetables during food pairings.

  • Do not combine proteins during one meal

Or eat a type of meat, fish, or legume - eggs are an exception, they can be eaten together with other proteins.

  • Cook slowly at a low temperature

In order to avoid fats heating up and to protect proteins, be sure to fry and cook at low temperatures (lysine and tryptophan are destroyed by high temperatures, even though our body needs them too)

  • Let's eat regularly

We should eat 5 times a day, include intermediate meals, and make sure to replenish the right amount of liquid.

By following the rules described above, we can easily detoxify our overloaded liver and prevent the development of various liver problems.
